Immersion Program

Dawson provides students with a unique opportunity in Spanish and French. Sophomores who have reached a certain level of proficiency in the language can apply for a special "immersion" program in Switzerland or Spain. As part of this exchange program, students stay in homes where they speak the family’s language and learn their culture.
The following year, students whom they met overseas come to Dawson to take classes and provide the whole community with insights into their language and culture.
