Alexander Dawson School flourishes with the generous support of our community. Giving at Dawson takes many forms, from volunteering time and expertise to offering financial support through voluntary donations. These are examples of many ways that parents and the school form a powerful team that works together for the good of our students.
Donations
Dawson depends on philanthropy to carry out our mission and welcomes donations in many forms. By reducing the burden on tuition, gifts to the Dawson Annual Fund, fund raising events, major gift projects, and endowment support our financial needs today and in the future. Gifts of all sizes are very important and are encouraged.
Volunteering
Parent Council, the parent organization for parents and guardians of Dawson students, supports many activities and needs of our school. We encourage every family to get involved and participate in a meaningful volunteer activity that suits their available time and interests. Volunteer opportunities range from those that require just a couple hours a year to more fully engaging leadership positions. Volunteering is also wonderful way to get to know the school and other parents.
Alumni Association
The Alexander Dawson School Alumni Association is growing and needs volunteers to sit on the Alumni Association Board. Contact the Development Office if you or fellow alum would like to volunteer to help strengthen this important organization.
