Photography Camp

The Dawson Photography Camp is designed to provide students with a foundation in traditional photography.  The first day of the week will be spent taking pictures (field trips are planned) and developing negatives.  You will then move into the darkroom to create prints.  The goal throughout this camp is to encourage campers’ creativity and originality while giving them grounding in the procedures of modern photography.  No experience is necessary, but campers with experience are welcome.  A 35 mm camera is needed for this camp. Dawson School has a limited number of cameras it can provide on a first-come first-served basis.
