2008 Summer Camp General Information

Application: Please read and carefully fill out all questions on the Summer Camp Application form and Waiver/Medical Authorization forms found at the bottom of the right hand side of this page. It is important that names and phone numbers of doctors be listed in the event of an emergency. Please be sure to sign and date each application. Applications without proper signatures cannot be processed.
Payment: All Dawson Summer Camps require full tuition for each camper paid at time of application. A partial refund of 75% is available for cancellations prior to March 31st, 50% after that date until the start of camp. There are no refunds after your camp has begun.
Swimming Pool: The Dawson swimming pool is open to campers each day of camp. Campers should bring a bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen to take advantage of the pool and have a chance to cool off. There are lifeguards on duty all day.
Camp T-Shirts: Each camper will be given an official Dawson Summer Camp t-shirt. Please check desired shirt size on the application.
Lunch: This summer we are pleased to be offering lunch for our campers! Adam Schwartz, Sage Dining & Alexander Dawson School Head Chef will be providing the camp with delicious and nutritious lunches everyday. Campers enrolled in full day camps will have a hot lunch option, deli bar, salad bar and a hot and cold soup option everyday at camp at no additional charge.
Athletic Trainer: Jody Baldwin is a certified athletic trainer who will be on campus everyday during the summer camps.
CHILL-OUT After Camp Care: We are pleased to offer
supervision of campers after the normal camp hours. Campers who cannot be picked up by 3:30 p.m. will be enrolled in our after camp care. This will be available each week of camp (except during week 6 - July 14-18) for $30/day. Please see the description on page 30 for more information. Be sure to sign up on the summer camp application if you plan to use the after camp care.
Student Tutoring: Private tutoring available for $80 per hour. Contact Tyler Brooks for further information.
Limited Enrollment for Academic and Arts Camps: All academic and arts camps have a limited number of spaces. Spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Once a camp is full, applicants will be placed on a waitlist and parents will be notified that their child has been placed on the waitlist. If a space becomes available, we will contact you at that time.
