Tucked away in Lafayette, CO, Dawson's 107-acre campus is surrounded by open space and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. Our campus inspires and is an oasis for students to learn, play, and enjoy the beauty of Colorado.

Safety and Security Team

The Dawson campus is manned by our on-site Safety and Security team from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Security is also on-site during all special events or late-night activities.

Dawson has campus-wide video surveillance and uses keyless entry, so buildings remain locked at all times. Upgraded signage and building identification have also been added to aid emergency personnel.

After School Academy (ASA)

ASA is a supervised, state-licensed program for students in grades K-5, provided at no additional charge. ASA is open Monday through Thursday until 5:00 p.m.

Students can play outside, complete homework, read, and participate in outdoor and indoor activities. ASA is available to all Dawson students.

Dining

Dawson provides an incredible dining program for students at no additional charge. Hot lunch with vegetarian options, plus a sandwich, soup, and salad bar, are served daily.

The SAGE dining staff works closely with students with allergens and/or special dietary needs. The Dawson kitchen also sources vegetables, cheese, and bakery products from local Colorado vendors.

Mustang Express Bus Program

Our convenient, flat-rate bus program has six local routes. More than 175 students utilize the bus program as their primary source of transportation. It's also a great option for students participating in co-curriculars.
