On this 17-day trip, you will experience urban Quito, the Amazon Rainforest, and the Andes Mountains. You will hike up volcanoes, bargain at local markets, raft through the rainforest, hang out with Ecuadorian teenagers, soak in volcanic-fed hot springs, complete a service project, and speak lots of Spanish. You will also spend time in two indigenous villages, one in the mountains and one in the rainforest. In one village, there will be an optional three-night homestay. Participants must have studied Spanish for a minimum of two years (or equivalent).
