Golf & Tennis Challenge
September 18, 2012 The Ranch CC, Westminster
Tee off the school year at this annual fall classic. This community event brings parents, alumni, friends, neighbors, friend’s neighbors, business partners, book club, country club, vendors, and Dawson administration “pros” together to play for bragging rights and prizes on the links and on the court.

Enjoy a fun, fall carnival with family and friends! Attend soccer and volleyball games as part of homecoming festivities.
There are activities for all ages including mini golf, rock wall, karaoke, Plinko, midway games, inflatable jumping castles, archery, obstacle courses, Frisbee golf, hula hoop contests, face painting, cotton candy and more! Everyone’s favorite dunk tank features Dawson faculty in the hot seat!

It’s a family-night out at this toe-tapping show! Enjoy dinner and a show as a family, or sit with your friends and let the kids sit with theirs!
Through The Tasting Glass: An Elegant Evening of Scotch Tasting
February 22, 2013 7-9:30 p.m. Henderson Dining Hall
Whiskey expert Buzz Dabkowski will guide the group on a tasting tour of carefully selected Scotch Whiskies. Each selection will be accompanied with a unique food pairing skillfully prepared by a well-known chef from Greenspoint Catering.
In one evening you’ll experience a variety of tastes from different regions in Scotland and learn to discern the differences. You’ll find new favorites to enjoy as we share information about the distilleries and regions of the whiskies you’ll sample. Plus we’ll learn which flavors to extract from the whisky samples and how to pair food with each.

Quiz Night
March 8, 2013 7 p.m. Henderson Dining Hall
Join other Dawson parents, faculty, staff, grandparents, and friends for this annual adults-only evening about all things trivial! Teams try to outdo each other on table themes as well as Dawson history, pop culture, entertainment, music, and academic trivia!
Bribing judges with chocolate is encouraged as this fun community builder helps to break up your mid-winter doldrums.
Admission is free.
An Evening with Friends Social & Auction
As the school year begins to wind down, the Parent Association’s annual Evening with Friends Social & Auction swings into action! In the last all-school, all-parent social of the year, themed evenings have been spent at The Nile, The Olympics, Kentucky Derby, under a disco ball, at Cinco de Mayo, poolside under the lights, and the rodeo.
While enjoying great food, music, conversations, and drinks, proceeds from the night’s admission, as well as silent and live auction sales benefit the School.
