Pacific Northwest

Day 2
We had a beautiful, sunshiny day today in Tacoma and Seattle. We began the day at the University of Puget Sound, just a couple of miles from the waterfront. The kids appreciated the beauty of the campus, which is marked by towering trees, magnolias, and cherry trees, all blooming now.
 
We spent the afternoon at the Museum of Pop Culture and Pike Market. The museum's key exhibits included Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, and stop-motion animation. Our favorite finds at Pike Market were doughnuts and ice cream.
