Sailing the Sound

We had an amazing start to our trip with beautiful blue skies and clear water! We left Seattle in the morning and met up with the ship in Port Townsend. The crew gave us an orientation, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch of pasta and veggies. We spent the afternoon learning maritime skills and enjoyed the beautiful view as we sailed down the Sound. For dinner, we ate stir fry, which was very yummy! We ended our day playing games in the main cabin and fell asleep to a sea shanty sung by one of the crew members. We can’t wait for another fun day on the water today!
