Hello from Florence. What a beautiful day. We started out by going to the Ufizzi to see some of the best work from the Renaissance. We then went to the Galleria dell'Accademia to see the David and other pieces by Michelangelo. We then went into St John’s Baptistery, the Duomo, climbed 463 steps to the top of the dome(Cupola del Brunelleschi), and ended our tour with a visit to Dante’s house. We then gave students two hours to explore this wonderful city. They had an amazing time, and I think fell in love with Florence. Off to dinner soon.
