Omnivorous Adventure

The adventuring spirit is strong with our middle school food, Winterim. Today, we spent time at Light Root Community Farm in Lafayette. Between milking and feeding the cows and chasing after the chickens, we kept busy. We learned that the cows were creatures of habit who knew exactly which milking stalls were theirs. We also learned the differences between raw and pasteurized milk and saw the farm's bottling process.
