Face Your Fears

We started our day with a lovely breakfast (amazing crepes!) and then ventured to Cheesman Park (the most haunted park in Denver), where we met local author Cynthia Swanson. We discussed her short story Pieces of Everyone, Everywhere and her writing process, especially how she incorporates history into thrillers. We learned that there are something like 2,000 bodies still buried in Cheesman today, so we "Irish jigged" out of there, only to next find ourselves at Lafayette Cemetery, the final resting place of Theodore Glava: a vampire! We ended our day by watching the first half of The Shining mini-series and yelling at Danny to NOT go into room 217.
