Day 3
We traveled to Gettysburg on day three to explore Civil War history. Our first stop was McPherson Barn, which was an important site during the first day of the battle and also belonged to Ms. Gaffga's great-great-grandfather!

As we traveled along the battle lines, our tour guide, Roy, who has led tours for 55 years, regaled us with the history, little-known facts, and dreadful details of the battle.  We also spent time in the visitor’s center, where we saw the stunning Cyclorama.

Alas, our bus had some technical difficulties, which caused us to delay our final memorial tours to Friday. Day four will have us in Arlington, visiting the Holocaust Museum, and seeing the wonderful and affecting Little Shop of Horrors!
