Performing Arts

Thursday, March 21st. Playwriting was the artform focus of today. We participated in a Play In A Day Workshop with local playwright/producer Heather Beasley. The day began with creating stories with a beginning, middle, and end. Students acted out the short stories they made before taking on individual roles in a staged reading of a real children’s play, The Wacky & Wild Trials of Aaron Burr, written by local playwright Jeffrey Wolf.
