Face Your Fears

We began the day with so much screaming as we finished watching the miniseries version of “The Shining.” This was followed by a wonderful visit from the best-selling author of psychological thrillers, Carter Wilson, who spoke with us about the trials and tribulations of getting books into print and making a living as a professional author. (His new novel “The Father She Went to Find” comes out in April—check it out!) It was then on to Estes Park for a snowy jaunt around Lily Lake and a ghost tour at the Stanley Hotel, birthplace of Stephen King’s famous novel. We are spending the night (and maybe getting some sleep if the ghosts let us).
