Tuition at Dawson covers all basic educational expenses including instruction, arts, athletics and physical education, field trips, class trips, and lunch. The annual tuition does not include books for students in grades 7 through12, iPads/devices, bus transportation to school, and Winterim.

Tuition Payment Plans
We recognize that a Dawson education represents a significant financial commitment. As a result, three different payment schedules offer various options to give families flexibility when paying tuition.
- 100% tuition due on or before June 1
- 50% tuition due on or before June 1, 50% due November 1 payable by direct deposit. Please note that tuition refund insurance is required to enroll in this plan.
- 10-month Payment Plan – June 1 through March 1, payable by direct deposit. Please note that tuition refund insurance is required to enroll in this plan.
Other Expenses
Books
In our Middle and Upper Schools, families are responsible for the actual cost of books – approximately $350 per year for Middle School (grades 7 & 8) and $500 per year for Upper School. ShelfIt is our online bookstore, however books can be found from many different sources.
Transportation
There is a small cost for those families choosing to participate in Dawson’s bus program. For information on cost please visit the Transportation link.
Winterim
The Middle and Upper Schools participate in a week-long experiential education program each spring. The cost of these programs will vary depending on the option that students and families select. Please visit our Experiential Education > Winterim for more information about this program.
