Sixth Grade
Sixth Grade art curriculum is founded on skill-based learning, which includes art production, art history, art criticism, and aesthetics. Through project-based learning, students are introduced to performing and visual art techniques to develop a basic proficiency in concepts and skills. Within the year students are given the opportunity to explore the Visual Arts, Music, and Theater.
Seventh/Eighth Grades
Seventh and Eighth Grade students are introduced to various media and techniques and develop a basic proficiency in art concepts and skills. An emphasis is placed on skill and project-based learning.
