Dawson's After School Academy (ASA) provides a supervised, state licensed program for students in grades K through 5. ASA is open from Monday through Thursday until 5:00 p.m. Students have the opportunity to complete homework and participate in outdoor and indoor activities appropriate for their developmental level. ASA is available to all Dawson students whose parents have preregistered them and have signed the appropriate handbook for the program. We are committed to providing continuous, high quality instruction in a safe and caring environment.

ASA begins with attendance, followed by snack time at 3:30 p.m. Children may eat peanut free snacks from home. After snack, children head outside (weather permitting) to enjoy some free play, followed by homework and quiet reading. There is no charge for after-school care.

ASA must comply with current state licensing regulations. This means, all students whom attend ASA must be registered for the program. ASA must meet and keep staff/child ratios, health, and safety requirements set by the state. Drop-in care is not available at this time.
