No Place for Hate Takes Over the Library

Victoria Kalman
An exciting new initiative this year is the collaboration between the Upper School NP4H Club and the Upper School Library.
The NP4H Club is a student-driven group that works to engage the Dawson community in dialogue and active learning about bias, bullying, inclusion, and allyship. The first part of the NP4H/Library collaboration is a monthly slide presentation on the Learning Commons' television screens. These slide presentations are created every month by NP4H students and aim to teach our community about various events and celebrations related to heritage, identity, and culture.

The second part of the collaboration is a permanent section in the library for DEI-related books for all ages. These books include ones that the Upper School NP4H students have read to the lower school students as part of our continued partnership with them. All community members are welcome to donate new or gently used books to this section.
