Arts
How do you teach artistry, confidence, and empathy? With clay and watercolors. With voice, rhythm, and movement. With collaboration and courage. From kindergarten through graduation, our goal is simple: give every student the space to explore widely, create passionately, and share their gifts with the world.
Creativity is a skill everyone needs. Arts are not an add-on; they are a fundamental part of the educational experience, giving students depth, joy, and discovery at every age.
From the moment students arrive in kindergarten, they engage with a range of creative media, learning to explore, experiment, and express in ways that stretch their thinking and their voice. As they move through Middle and Upper School, options expand and deepen, including ceramics, graphic design, woodworking, digital art, theatre, musical ensembles, and more.
Across fine arts, digital arts, music, and performance, our goal is simple: give every student the space to explore widely, discover what moves them, and develop the confidence to pursue what matters most. Whether a child’s spark becomes a lifelong passion or a foundation for creative thinking in other areas of life — the arts at Dawson empower students to know themselves and to share their gifts with the world.
