Dawson School is Hosting a Regional Diamond Challenge Pitch Event

We are proud to host a regional pitch event for the Diamond Challenge, the ultimate high school entrepreneurship competition. On February 27, student teams from Dawson, the Boulder/Denver area, and beyond (teams from anywhere are welcome) will pitch original business and social venture ideas live, in front of judges, for a shot at advancing toward more than $100,000 in national prizes.

Whether you're a student with an idea, a family curious to watch, or a community member who wants to support the next generation of innovators, this event is for you.

What is the Diamond Challenge?

The Diamond Challenge is the world's top-rated entrepreneurship competition for high school students, powered by University of Delaware Horn Entrepreneurship, the creative engine for entrepreneurship education and advancement at the University of Delaware. It's for any teen, from any location, with any idea. Teams of 2–4 students build a business innovation or social innovation concept, then pitch it for a share of a $100,000+ prize pool, including a $12,000 grand prize, plus topical prizes from sponsors like Gore, Capital One, and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority.
