Bread, Cheese, & Chocolate Winterim

This morning, the students made laminated doughs as a group. Half the group went to Piece, Love, and Chocolate in the afternoon to make chocolate lava cakes, and half stayed behind to learn how to temper chocolate. After it was tempered, they made their own creations!

Today, the Bread, Cheese, & Chocolate Winterim took on bread and pastries in a big way. Working with Miche Bacher, we used the laminated dough we prepped on Friday to make croissants, danishes, and sweet and savory puff pastries. We then made chocolate babka, naan, banh mi, and focaccia. We made so much. We were able to share with faculty, staff, and students!
